Frost on everything today, even put the fire on first thing much to the GF's delight. Windy and wet later, should be a good 10 degrees warmer tonight than last.

Popped into town to wash my car before work, didn't quite have enough time with the sprayer to clean off all the suds before the time ran out and I didn't fancy putting in the minimum spend for another 5 minutes so the suds froze to the sides of my car on the way in.

Today will be spent looking at bikes I can't afford

    Morning folks,
Decidedly chilly for the wobble in this morning, a tad slippery in places especially on the bridge over Teddington Lock. Vey pretty though. Wore gloves so fingers are still operational. Slightly overdressed so was actually quite warm when I got here.
Already got customers bothering me, they're a bit too keen. Thankfully my biscuits survived the weekend and there was no break in here. Day off tomorrow as I'm going with my folks to see the specialist.

I would have thought you would have seized solid in the cold sungod!

My right big toe was slightly chilly as I can't find my toe covers. They may have disintegrated in the spring, so will be hunting some down later.

Cake judging for me this morning.

Facebook tells me I have had the hound for 1 year today, which means it is one whole year since I posted a picture of the GF on the forum and nothing bad has happened yet...
  • Cold again here today, must put the wood burner on at lunch to stop the wife burning through the planets natural gas resources.

Stevo, we've been sorted for months, which reminds me it has to be paid up around Christmas time...

I did some cycle related stuff at weekend, I looked at them and muttered as I wandered off back into the house.

In PP related news both houses appear to be let subject to scribbling on some paper which is great news as it means more cash, and even better I get my life back!

Excellent day so far - only one in so office to myself so getting all the bits I need to get done done without distractions - excellent amount of productivity going on.

Just about to have a coffee and carry on.

    Actually quite enjoyable.

Left a nice warm house to come to freezing cold work.

Apparently the lack of heating is my fault, the vents are blowing freezing cold air into the rooms as a response to me having all the radiators turned on, fan heaters etc. Try to explain, YET AGAIN, that the vents are our heating, our only form of heating but they're not heating!

Then go to a meeting to roll out the 'new plan'. It's full of visions, structures which are embryonic, and empowerment. If I'd taken a "bullshit bingo card" with me, I could have completed it in a world record time.

    Monday. arseholes to it.

Last nights fireworks party was fun, but Jesus did we drink - think it was the shock of how much I had just paid for a dog

Later should be the kids at yuff club, but as they had such a late night they might not be up to it

    Haha, that'll keep you busy.
Saw a girl walking a pup up the road from work the other day. Quite a big pup but very playful. Asked her what it was and she said it was a Rottweiler/Bull Mastiff cross. That's gonna be a fookin' strong dog and she wasn't very big at all.

What's wrong with my dog then Ballysmate?! Why ain't she proper? Looks like a dog, barks like a dog, sh*ts like a dog, fetches a ball like a dog, just doesn't shed hair everywhere and stink like a dog. Not that she's a cockapoo though, she's a clumberpoo, a completely different thing.

Could be worse - could be a cross between a Shihtzu and poodle :)

I suspect Bally is just trying to get a rise out of certain mongrel owning forumites

Afternoon, I cant argue on this dog argument having a dozy English bull terrier, throw the ball she comes back with half a tree instead. An she malts an smells doggish.

Anyway joyous day someone over the weekend managed to delete a couple terabytes of data from a network drive so sat smugly awaiting the fall of an axe on someone.
Hipster minion has resurfaced looking distinctly dishevelled after two weeks off from the birth of his son so he's thankfully very quiet.
Later I shall be going home and doing crap all as its a Monday.

I like mongrels, a dog doesn't have to be inbred to be a proper dog. We used to have a heinz57, it was mostly collie and whippet we reckon. I was thinking more along the lines of the ridiculously over-coiffured bichon fries type lap dogs.
I did write frise but the computer corrected it to fries which may be better.
Oh, and I was taking the p!ss out of Stevo but he already knew that.

Ooh, I forgot to put winky emoji on my response  . I'm aware my hound is faintly ridiculous looking, but she doesn't shed or stink, and that's the key for me.

If she is anything like my OH then once she saw it there was no rational decision making to be done regarding price...

That said, I have no idea what a springer pup costs. Even the OH might manage to resist some of the prices you hear for weird things like pugs

We used to breed Springers. Our stud was 'Whisky' who cost £200 in 1973!! Son of Hawkill Connaught (87cc's). Gorgeous dog. Got given away during the divorce
