if you've had an experience with them why are you asking for experiences?Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

To see if it's a running theme or I've just been unlucky. Have you got a shokbox or dealt with the company?0

I can't see how the GPS tracker system can be made to work.
GPS is a global (satellite) broadcast system which can be detected by particular chipsets in electronic devices. To share the location calculated by that device needs some sort of transmitters. Airline insist that transmitters are switched off during flights.
So, once you have loaded your precious bike box on the plane the transmitter will be switched off. How do you then track it?0 -
The new Shokbox Feels Bullet Proof
had a trial with your ShokBox today and we are VERY impressed. Quality is great and feels very secure when closed especially with the ‘anti-crush’ system you have built into the design.
The bicycle I used was a Gravel bike. This uses 27.5” wheels with an equivalent 2.1 tyre and the wheels easily fitted the wheels bags. The handlebars on this bicycle widen on the ‘drops’ so much wider than normal but fitted in very well.
One advantage of Disk bicycles is that you can use the thru axle in the dropouts which does a good job of securing the chain on the rear.
The storage bag is great and still room for other ‘stuff’ in the case as well. about 1/2 kg heavier than some cases, but certainly the case is easy to move around and super strong.0
