Potential Neo Issue

Ok, took my usual bike off the Neo today. Stuck my good bike on. Away I went.
Did a Fulgaz ride. Bit of clicking, assumed just gears slightly out of alignment from bike to bike (same cassette size).
Then, went downhill. No freewhell at all, Neo came to a halt. The video sped up, as it should but no freewheel.
So, I followed this link here:

Which suggests tightening that black ring. Thing is, my black ring isn't there. It SEEMS to be inside the body of the Tacx. It sits flush on the inside.
Tightened the cassette up, it was a bit loose. Re assembled and all seems ok now. Freewheel works ok.
Similarly in this video, mine simply does not look like this

At 1:46 he take it off, there's that black ring. Mine isn't there, it's flush against that red section inside that you see a bit later.
