MX jerseys???

I've been looking around for some cool jerseys and the really cool ones (in my opinion) are all MX jerseys, are there any disadvantages of using one instead of something MTB specific?

    Wear what you like. MTB ones might wick better though.

    I like MX jerseys, the thin over armour ones, tough meatrial, some subtle padding (with the right ones) and often with some mesh for airflow.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
