I'm looking for a good carbon frame for a new summer bike build for longish rides -60 to 100miles ish. Could spend up to £1000, any suggestions please?

Absolutely anything could do what you ask of it.
We will need a bit more direction.0 -
At that price range you may as well get a complete build. You will get a far better deal. Sales will have better discounts for ready to ship bikes than just a frame.0

Yes I thought of that, but I've already got wheels and a group set so I want to build a bike using the parts I want on it.0

Then buy a complete bike, strip it and sell the parts, then install your chosen groupset / wheels etc?
Or check the usual suspects online for last year's framesets at a discount?
I've always thought that framesets at RRP seemed like poorer value for money compared with complete bikes.0 -
You can get a Fuji SL frameset for a reasonable amount of money, they are 1500 pounds equivalent in the USA. https://www.coloradocyclist.com/fuji-sl ... meset-2018
But this is high end carbon fibre, hence the price.
Other than that if you want a low or mid priced carbon frame it's usually more cost effective to buy the complete bike and switch out the parts you don't like, as Keef and TP have already said.
Often good manufacturers only sell their premium framsets as framesets.0 -
You could consider the used but vgc route? Such as https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 26490145870

1300g total frame & forks plus headset. Might be worth a look at the sales price ?0 -
Dolan Ares SL? I borrowed a friends for a little while and its a nice ride. Looks a bit old school now though and paint schemes are marmite.0

Have a look on the Paul MIlnes website

Have bought a couple of frames from them in the past and can't fault them. They tend to have a few quirky offerings but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
For example they are offering an ex-Lotto Belisol Ridley Fenix frame ridden by Marcel Sieberg for £795.

Call them direct and you could probably negotiate a discount or some extras thrown in - eg get them to fit a bottom bracket to suit your crankset0 -
Thanks for all the suggestions.0
