Hi all. Merlin cycles have some good deals on Lusso at the moment. Have ordered a Dryline Base layer in medium but fretting it may be a little big on me (woukd have also bought the small to compare if they did free returns).

For reference I'm 37.5" chest, and take small in Craft baselayers, and medium in Castelli jerseys. Lusso say medium is 38-40" chest, but the item is described as being "bodyfit". Small is described as being 35-37", with a waist measurement much smaller than mine.

Any real world experience of their sizing up top?

  • I bought a couple of http://www.merlincycles.com/lusso-linea ... 81022.html a back in August and went up one size from the guide, following comments left by others. There's a tiny bit of slack on the front shoulders, but I can live with it, I suspect medium would have at best left my no room to expand over Xmas.

I'd go medium with 37.5 chest. It will be snug, not tight. I've found them relatively short in the body, so that may be something if you're 6" or so.

Thanks for the advice. The medium is a great fit. The Dryline is also a particularly good base layer, and decent value at only £22 at Merlin.

I see Lusso have just brought out a long sleeve version, so may pick one of those up if ever in the sale.
