    Dipped into 'Spoonerland, micro brewery ales 'festival' on the now, followed by a rather excellent Thai meal. I do love Thai food, doing the Indian after beers thing is so 20th century, doesn't one think?

    There's a nice Thai place near us, a bit like eating in someones front room but the food is good.

    Thanks for all the good wishes chaps. Old man is recovering from surgery quite well, got moved to the ward this afternoon and moaned it was full of old folks. I'm hoping for a better kip tonight. Night all.
