************** NEW POST CREATED BELOW - SPEED ISSUE FIXED ********
Hi
Signed up for the Sufferfest last night, first of all massively impressed with all the changes and stats they have brought in since I last used their videos 3-4 years ago but I did encounter an issue after my first session last night.
I'll start by saying I had not set my FTP and weight until after completing Angels (oops) so not sure if that contributed to the issue but when finished I had completed 58 minutes at an average of 47mph which is obviously wrong.
I'm using a Tacx Flow (smart) and my Stages PM. I paired the Stages for the power but let the tacx do the cadence, I do plan to have the stages do both next time. The cadence from the tacx was showing 10-15rpm higher than the readout on my Garmin. Could it have been the cadence discrepancy from the Tacx causing the 47mph average speed?

Check the "Wheel Size" setting in the app.
I use the default. Think it's 2096mm.0 -
Thanks, that could well be it. I hadn't set it on the app.Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

Didn't want to make a new thread but wanted to know how best to set things up.
I have a Tacx Flow (smart), Stages PM and then a laptop with sunto card.
On using Sufferfest last night the ERG mode is not working correctly, on some of the climbs it appears to kick in so my cadence can drop right down but on other climbs I am having to spin at 110 to get the power required when I should be doing 60RPM. The reason being there is not enough resistance on the trainer. This results in me changing gears (making things worse) when in reality in ERG mode you shouldn't have to.
Anyone have this issue? What is the best setup for this?Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

Hey Supermurph - David from The Sufferfest here. Sounds like you might be getting some interference. Would you be so kind as to write into us on theminions@thesufferfest.com? The Minions can defo help you out and get you Suffering properly. It's simply cruel when you're doing the climbs and you're not in enough AGONY! Thanks, D.0 -
