My wife's beloved Assos 607 3/4s are starting to loose their shape and nobody sells them anymore.

She has summer bibs with the new S7 chamois in them but doesn't like them as much. She also has some Rapha Brevet bibs which she loves but the Rapha 3/4s are not really warm enough according to their description.

So.... anyone know of any decent 3/4s, preferably bibs, that can stand up to winter temperatures? Both of us much prefer 3/4s unless it's really cold.

Not tried their bib shorts, but I'm impressed by the Pearl Izumi thermal 3/4 shorts. Great fit and warm enough to keep you riding through the winter.
  • Ah, I was about to pop in and say that Assos' new Mille Tiburu knicks are fab. But, there we are.

Which pad does she have in the S7?

I have the Tiburu myself. Love em but she prefers the old chamois. Not sure which she has with the s7 just some regular summer shorts lalallaa or something
  • I don't know if they've changed the women's but the men's new Tiburu Mille is a different pad to the old Tiburu S7

Have passed this on. Get some decent reviews and not much above £50 at the moment so could save a few quid!
