Garmin Edge 25 or Wahoo elemnt mini

Looking at these 2. Both offer everything I need in a computer, but do you need a phone to log ride data for strava for the Wahoo??? Edge has GPS built in already.

    As much as I love Wahoo, the Elemnt mini, from what I have read has a poor interface and lacks GPS. Probably better off with the Garmin, or saving and buying an elemnt bolt (which are fantastic)

    As someone who has owned an edge 25, and is now on a BOLT, I would recommend skipping the 25 and riding without a computer until you can afford a BOLT.

    If you are considering the mini, it means you have a smart phone, so I would use Strava on it temporarily until you can buy a computer.

    Once you own the 25, you realize how much you miss out on by having not a fancier computer and will want to upgrade. (Battery on 25 is also not very good)
