I have a road bike with Shimano ST-2200 3x8 gears. The rear shifter is on it's last legs. Can I easily change to a 105 3x11 (or similar) by changing the shifters, rear mech and rear cassette ?

Thanks

Maybe. The potential problem would be that 11 speed freehubs are wider than those for 8/9/10 speed. So, if you have upgraded your wheels to new ones in the last couple of years, you may have a compatible freehub, or you may be able to swap the freehub to an 11 speed compatible one.

It would probably be easier to fit a 10 speed groupset like Tiagra 4700 or older 105 though. Also, you'll probably want to change the front mech too, to deal with the narrower chain.
