I've just received a £50 voucher for Le Col through a strava 'challenge' - are their bibs any good? They're certainly priced at the premium end of the market.

Probably no worse or no better than all the others of the same ilk - Chapeau, etc. Probably all out of the same factory to tell the truth - definitely all out of the same advertising agency.

    Which are?
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I thought that to (Well not about the same factory thing) until I had a look at the prices - Galibier, and Chapeau are often bubbling around the £60-£100 mark for jerseys and shorts etc.
This site's standard selling price for a jersey is £150.

EDIT: Bizarre - look this morning (Sunday), and the bulk of them are now £120 - with no 'Reduced' label against them :?

Think I'm going to give them a miss - if anyone wants a voucher code (£50 off, £100 minimum spend) send me a PM.

£150 for jersey? Are they having a bubble? Who buys this stuff?

I was half tempted by the £120 camo jersey down from £120 to £100, which would then effectively be £50 - that would seem to be the best bang for your buck, and meets crieria (I think) for the £100 limit and free delivery - but still not that taken with the designs - picky, but not liking that font too much either, could be more subtle imho.

  • I've a voucher waiting to be used despite my on-off manflu over the last few weeks, but I was more hoping to be able to do a 5+ hour ride in one hit to enter the draw.

Had a really quick look at their shop and their prices are steeper than Dell Road in Bitterne (my relatively new killer hill)!
