What bike to buy?

Im looking to purchase a new road bike in the region of £300-£500 and wondered what peoples opinions were on these two bikes.

Boardman Sport Road Bike

Specialized Allez 2018

For this time of year the Allez takes massive tyres and has mudguard mounts

Of the two I'd go for the specialized allez but then again having ridden one for twelve years I would say that!

Two rules for buying bikes at a price point:
Buy one that fits (essential).
Then buy the one that makes you smile.

You might consider picking up something in what is left of the autumn sales.
