I think you have a mudguard / rack mount above the axle. Is that hole threaded? In which case then any 'normal' rack should fit. Your disc brake is hidden in the chainstay / seatstay triangle so out the way.

You have a through axle so the blackburn EX1 disc won't work (requires a QR).

Just be aware - if those are in fact mounts meant for a mudguard, they may not be rated to carrying the heavy load of a pannier. They would probably be OK anyway but that would be at your risk if that is the case. I have done it for a while but since switched to an axle mounted rack because I was always aware I shouldnt be - but then I have QR so there are several options.

If you dont have mounting points at the top of the seatstays, you have several options there:

    1) Use something like this on the seatpost: http://road.cc/content/review/83283-sal ... eat-collar
    2) Use P-clips on the seatstays (which may not be strong enough for the load)
    3) Use a single upper arm rack, where it fastens to the single bolt on the mudguard mount at the bridge

Or if you have lots of money, you could buy a Tailfin rack: https://www.tailfin.cc/collections/spar ... ilfin-axle
  • Hi

Forget to mention what type of bike this is . Specialized sequioa . Yes it has holes at the top of seat stays

Then it's a steel frame and designed for load lugging so you can attach whatever you like in the way of racks, front and back if you so wish.

Given the location of the disc calliper, any rear pannier rack will be OK for your bike. If the calliper was on the seatstay then you'd need a disc specific rack.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

I use an Axiom Streamliner on my Planet X Dirty Disco when I go touring on it. It mounts at the bottom onto the skewer and I fitted a seatpost clamp with mounting points for the top.

    I'm happy with it.
