Austria and Germany Route Planning

Need some advice. Im planning a small ride from Central Hungary up to Western Germany (somewhere) to meet a mate in the summer of next year, its roughly going to be 1200ish km in totally. Then I will likely head to Hamberg to meet my brother in law and maybe get a train back to Hungary from there.

As Google Street view hasn't got to Austria and Germany yet are there any tips for reviewing the routes suggested by the route software you are using.

Any help would be welcomed.

  • Can't recommend a route however I recently drove from Munich Airport to Saalbach in the Austrian Alps and there was dedicated well paved cycle routes all the way. They were all set well away from the road. I think Germany would be a great place to cycle.
  • @ronnierocket - cheers for that.
