27.5 tyres for cx?

Looking for a narrow mud tyre to race cx on my mtb.
Isn't much options?
So far all the ones iv'e found are abit pricey:

Something like an S Works Ground Control or Renegade would be good if you don't want to spend too much.0

Eye wateringly expensive, hence why I have not used my 650b's for spare cx wheels.0 -
Depending on your MTB, you might find you can fit 700c wheels with 32-35mm CX tyres. No idea if that's an option or not, but might be worth considering if it is..0

I want narrow tyres for mud clearance.
I could use my cx bike but mud clearance on my frame is worse than many other bikes , so after one/two lap sometimes wheels clog under the forks & at rear so i thought using my mtb with narrow tyres would work better.
Looking at other peoples bikes after a race just even a few mm extra seems to make alot of difference/with clogging under the forks.0 -
