Lezyne Micro Drive Rear light flashes when plugged in to the usb port on my PC or a plug but it flashes forever and when I take it out and press the button/(power indicator) it is dead. I have had the light for about two years, no warranty, but it’s the best one I have had and was wondering if there is a home repair?

ah, the Lezyne flash of death.... it is actually not too bad... some expensive Lezynes give up the ghost after 1 winter season....
Best I can offer is to hold in the button for 2 minutes, give it a bang with a hammer, any attempt to reverse engineer will probably mean a broken unit.0 -
This might help: http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Lezyne+Micro+Drive+Battery+Replacement/16793
I've opened mine up when the battery failed and replaced it with a 16340 PROTECTED rechargeable battery. Something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NITECORE-Battery-16340-RCR123-IC-Protected-650mAh-NC-16340-/112488780713?epid=1573688529&hash=item1a30da93a9:g:~DIAAOSw~05ZvDAo. I'd buy a branded one and nothing that ends in the word FIRE (Ebay specials).
Of course if it's the not the battery the above fix won't work.
Maybe the first thing to try is to open it up and remove the battery, clean contacts and replace. I remember reading somewhere that removing/replacing original battery can clear certain problems.
When I put it back together I used RTV(silicone sealant) around the lens to ensure it remained water-tight.0 -
