They make me sweat because they cost so much, with their sturdy legs and brisk efficiency with a microfibre cloth. Marvellous creatures.

Not usually one to gloat but I think Stevo expects it. Had to come indoors for a bit of a cool down.
That I do. Nor do I mind it as I'm a sun dodger :)

listening to Everlong acoustic from Jo Wiley's R2 show last Wednesday

    utterly amazing.

Heard that on the radio the other evening, incredible stuff. A mate of mine plays drums in the support band too, I think they were unsurprisingly excited to be doing it judging by his facebook...

Of course, as long as I describe mtb as proper riding I'll never have to admit to myself that I am a roadie. Unfortunately they released shots of the new Process the other day so mine is now dead to me. Best get saving...

Gave me ebolaids and the price of housing went up.

Bit on the radio a few minutes ago, incredible stuff. Suppose they were very motivated, given what the germans were doing to their home country.

    What about the Bianchi?

Never seen one of those before!

Sorry you're right I'm 5'10" so if you're an Oompah-Loompah The Spicy might be a bit on the spacious side.

Now that HM is too small for your bike. Was it Lapierre that made self destructing frames a while back?

I guess that because Stevo is a super waif, that's why his Lapierre has stayed together.

  • Friday fading slowly to black here... new variety of sausages tried this evening but bit of a fail. Supposedly a spiced beef, but decidedly bland. Ridiculously balmy evening for September, still in the 20s at 9pm while we were out walking. Hot tomorrow. Pool season may begin!

3d printed titanium lugs and carbon tubes all made to measure. Rode one in the Alps last summer and it is without a doubt the best bike I've ever ridden. The good news is the frame price has come down a bit from the £4395 reported in that article, the bad news is that it's still £3895 or something

I know them as 'Snapierre', but then I also know cannondale as 'Crack-and-fail', didn't stop me buying one in the end...

I think their carbon ones melted in the rain, but mine was alloy and survived downhill learner duties.

I can get sunburnt watching the weather forecast on the telly. But I do enjoy hopping from cafe to cafe

More because it's quite a sturdy build, not one of those bikes that looks like it's been made out of drinking straws that you see in the rusty old (vintage) bikes forum.

Agree - just not feeling sharp.

Going to give myself a blood transfusion tonight to see if it's anything to do with that - have some that I found in a cupboard a couple of weeks ago so waste not want not as my mother would say.

Have also found a FAST in the garage that I didn't know about so will use that to get some fluids in - the packet is a bit torn so I can't use it for work but I'll just pop it in the dishwasher and that will make it all a-ok I reckon.

Reckon I'll be back on form by tomorrow. Will keep you lot updated.

    Serious lack of EPO there.
