Hi, just sold my brakes, might possibly be the most stupidest question on this site but i have 4 fastening bolts that fit through my adaptors to the bike, 2 on front and 2 on rear.

Just wondering are these bolts for the brakes or the adaptors as i don't know if i should include them or not.

First time upgrading brakes btw.

  • If you buy new Shimano adaptors they come with bolts (Just checked an un-opened pack which I have)
  • Oh well on my new Slx brakes i 4 botlts tjat came from them so im thinking they will work for my adaptors and may as well throw my others in with the parcel just in case. Thanks for replys.

Calliper to adapter or to frame/forks or adapter to frame /forks bolts are all M6. There needs to about 12mm of engaging thread so a bit of common sense determines if the bolt is the correct length.
