Full length bib tights recommendations

Hi all,
In the market for a set of bib tights for the winter. Last year I ploughed ahead bare-legged but wanted a more comfortable experience this year as the temperatures have already dropped in the UK!
Don't really fancy spending more than £75 but could stretch to £100 for the right pair.
Will probably use them 2-3 times/week max, one or two commutes and a longer spin at the weekends.
What I am looking for is primarily warmth, but it has to be somewhat breathable because I sweat like a pig when cycling
Been looking at the dhb Aeron and Classic ones on Wiggle, but would like some other recommendations

I bought some "Gore Bike Wear Power 2.0 Thermo Bibtights" last winter and they are really warm.0

Do you want then with pad or without?
With pad then ideally should be washed after every ride. If you buy without pad then wear some decent shorts under and change them daily.
Alternatively buy some leg warmers to use with shorts, something like Castelli nanoflex.0 -

Agree - with windstopper if you find them on offer. Marvellous garment.0 -
Sportful R&D. Very similar to the aforementioned Sorpassos but often available a bit cheaper.0

Another vote for the Sorpassos. Especially given your sweaty pig comment. They rather magically manage to be warm down to 0c, as well as not too hot at 15c.
I got the ones with extra reflectives because nobody ever died from being too visible...

I prefer the Castelli ones as for me they fit well and are comfortable. If you are very well built the Gore ones can be an alternative.
Have a look on the castelli café website for end of season reductions.0 -
I love my DHB ASV roubaix ones.0

Well bugger me! They do have some pad-free thermal bibs in the sale. If you're a child / jockey.0 -

Which sucks because I want more of them0 -
I tend to wear Lusso 'Cooltech' tights when it gets a bit chilly and their 'Max Repel' (a sort of water repellent roubaix) when it get down to brass monkeys. I buy mine without pad and wear them over my usual shorts (i.e.with pad). It works for me but, fortunately, I haven't had to resort to either thus far this year (but I doubt if it will be too long now!).Cannondale Synapse Carbon Ultegra

I was fortunate to get some Castelli Café long bibs with Progetto X2 for £66 a couple of weeks ago but I think I bought the last pair of XLs. Not much help I'm afraid but just saying they do have offers at unexpected times of year. It's not been cool enough to try them yet but they look decent quality and fit well. Not my favourite pad in the shorts equivalent that I also own but not bad. I would go for Pactimo every time if money were no object.Vaaru Titanium Sram Red eTap
