Impressive iTT crash during the Tour of the Moselle
Last weekend AG2R B squad cyclist Maxime Roger had a nasty fall when his handlebars separated from his fork during the Tour of the Moselle in France. The rider was at 60 km/h. Suffering a knee injury had had to abandon the race and his second place on the GC.

"it is a hard knock for me" - said Roger after the accident "I was really going well after the Etoile d'Or in mid-July, the team was strong and I think we had a good chance at the GC. I've a lot of cuts and I can't bend my knee, maybe it is a sprain".

Mechanical failure or poor workmanship? It didn't appear to take much of an effort/force for the TT bars to separate from the headset.0 -

Bolts too short apparently, the extensions were literally hanging on by a thread.0
