Replacement 2015 Chorus rear mech

Today I managed to snap off my 2015 Chrous rear mech due to crashing and not realigning. I am hoping I may be able to get it reapaired but for the short term I need a replacement as I am attending Birmingham Velo next week.

A quick look online I have found the older style Athena 11, and Centaur 11.

Will these work with my current setup?

    Yes, they will if they are 2015 or older...

    the Centaur looks recent (and the Athena too, to be honest)

    I have just read somewhere that 2011 Campy 11 speed had different cable pull to 2015 11 speed. The Athena is 2011 so I am thinking it won't be any good

    I have also found :

    Athena 11sp is compatible with both the 2009-2014 and the 2015+ versions; they only changed the cable pull on Chorus, Record and Super-Record groups.

    So it should be Ok then?

    Ahhh... I see.

    If you have the new one, then you need a new one, any other than Potenza will do

    Really so Potenza Rear mech is my only option :(

    Ah sorry I just re-read, after googling I am getting no where.

    Strangely Potenza is the only rear mech that looks similar, yet it's the only one that wont work?

    SImilar means nothing. It's the pull to lateral movement ratio or in other words the geometry of the parallelogram. IF you have a 2015 newer Chorus, then you need a 2015 newer rear mech, except Potenza which has a different, incompatible parallelogram.

    After further research, I am thinking that my only option is another Chorus rear mech :(

    As you correctly said Potenza is no good, and I also think the Centaur 11 and Athena 2011 is incompatible unless anyone else can confirm otherwise.
