Which mudguards for Pro6 Crosslight disc

Ok, have concluded im going to winterise my Pro6 disc this year for use on the road, as my (self-built and beloved) Tifosi CK7 seems to have been commandeered by my lad.
Would like to run up to 32mm tyres, so think ill be looking at SKS 45mm guards? But, should I go for good old Chromoplastics or Bluemels? Wiggle have the latter for less than £20 currently.
My frame is a mk1 disc, so with "outboard" frame mounts for the disc calipers (Spyres if that makes a difference). Think the stays will need some bending and adjusting to fit, so any advice from Pro6 disc owners out there?
Cheers, L2R

I've got chromoplatics on mine. Had to bend the stays front and back when I had BB7s, rear would clear the Parabox set up I now have without bending so yours may differ. Bent the front so both stays come back horizontally from the mount under the caliper then bends up to the guard attachment.
I didn't use the little bracket that came with the frame for the rear guard. I found it unnecessary.0 -

Excellent advice - thanks!
Does anyone know key differences between the Chromoplastics and Bluemels by any chance?Titus Silk Road Ti rigid 29er - Scott Solace 10 disc - Kinesis Crosslight Pro6 disc - Scott CR1 SL - Pinnacle Arkose X 650b - Pinnacle Arkose singlespeed - Specialized Singlecross...& an Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4 string...0 -
The Chromoplastics have a squareish cross section but the Bluemels are fully rounded like plastic guttering. the Bluemels are slightly more accommodating if clearance is tight for your tyres.
Eg I can't get a 25mm rear tyre to run without rubbing in my Ribble winter frame if using the chromoplastics but I can manage it ok with the Bluemels- not much in it but enough to make a difference.0 -
