Best 2017 sale bikes

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a new road bike for about £2000. There are loads of 2017 bikes on sale at the moment so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about what to get?

I have been riding a Felt F85 for a good few years now and do roughly 50 miles a week and a few sportives.

You can get a CAAD 12 with 105 for under a grand which is probably all the bike you'll ever need given your mileage and intended use. For 2 grand you could probably get a disc version with Ultegra and still have change to upgrade the wheels.

ETA if you're not a brand snob then Dolan, Ribble and Planet X and Merlin do some amazing value bikes. Merlin's Nitro is essentially a rebadged Ridley Helium for instance.
