Currently looking for a replacement 10 speed cassette running Shimano CS-HG62 10-Speed Cassette which I have got fantastic Mileage out of any recommendations or opinions so far it's a choice between
Shimano Deore HG50 10 Speed MTB Cassette £24.49 or Shimano SLX HG81 10 Speed MTB Cassette £28.89

Cassettes are wear items so unless you're obsessed about weight or shininess, just get the cheapest one with the sprocket sizes you want.
I'd always fit a new chain with a new cassette; a part worn chain will accelerate wear on a new cassette0 -
Get the SLX, worth the weight saving over the Deore. You can probably find an XT for around £30.I don't do smileys.
