I was given these bib shorts and it fitted fine except for the end part specifically where the '"grips" are. Any suggestions for fixes? Should I just fold them inwards or will that look funny?

  • give them to your wife/mother /nan to wash. Soon shrink down

Lots of dry cleaning places could 'take them in' for you. Heck you could do it yourself with needle and cotton.

 I can only speak for my self, but it would be quicker for me to grow my quads than to thread a needle
  • Have you worn them 'in anger' yet? I bought a pair of DHB rain defence bibs the other day (should be called light shower defence, but that's another thread), and they were baggy around the grippers when I put them on at first, but they moulded to the shape of my leg after a short while. I also have the same problem with Castelli Nanoflex winter bibs, but these tend to stay a bit baggy all through the ride.
Give them a go if you haven't ridden in them yet, you may find they do the same.
