I have the Perfetto SS and Perfetto vest. Combine these with Nano-Flex arm warmers and you have so much flexibility to ride in anything between low single figure and mid teens temps.0

TBH I have no idea why they did it. It still seems to sell but I do think they will have lost some sales. Seems odd!
Mind it's more Italian now than Aussie sports ground, that might be why!My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Having recently bought both a Gabba 3 SS and a Perfetto Light 2 SS, I thought I'd share my experiences.
Gabba 3 - Thicker material than the Perfetto and warmer in that respect. Riding in 5 degrees this morning, I was more than comfortable in it with a mesh base layer and some arm warmers.
I also wore it the other day when it was 14 degrees. Ended up riding with it undone after 15 mins, way too hot.
Perfetto Light 2 - This is just exceptional. As good as the Gabba down to around 7 degrees, then it's maybe not warm enough (wish just a mesh / summer base layer). It will be on me 90% of the time though. Much better (aero) fit than the Gabba 3 and much more breathable.
Being 6ft and 88kg, I normally wear an XL in all Castelli tops. The Gabba 3 was tight but not super tight. I feel I could have squeezed into a large. However, the Perfetto in XL was a perfect fit.0 -
I normally wear a Medium. So that's Large needed when I bought my Alpha and Gabba3. Not yet worn my Perfetto Light, because I made the mistake of also buying a Large. Which was far too tight, so had to go back for an exchange - an XL Perfetto is much closer in size to the Gabba in Large! They use their cars as shopping baskets; they use their cars as overcoats.0
