Hi all just wondered if any one can give some advice please on hub spacing. Im looking at having second pair of wheels a 29er but the frame is a 141 hub sze on rear.

I spoke to Trek who said can be done and i need a DT Swiss 350 hub with conversion kit and then it fit, so what kit is exactly i need? Qr or bolt through either would do.
I read some where that the 148 x 12mm hub is the same as a 141 x qr hub is this right?.

So im after running one set wheels the 650b plus wheels and a set of 29er wheels but like I mention the rear hub size is 141.

Thanks in advance

  • I stock all the dt swiss 350 disc brake end caps i can buy and there nothing for this new standard unless the ths qr end caps which i am waiting for fit to a boost hub and make 141mm. The boost hub shell is not the same as 142x12mm shell.
