Does Locking out my rear suspension while riding any harm

I have a full suspension GT with a rear lock out and it might be a stupid question but, can locking it whilst riding do it any harm? Should I be off the bike when I'm switching from locked to unlocked?

No, it's fine, while point is to be able to lock when riding0

I do it all the time. Literally every single ride. I always fully lockup the front AND back when climbing. I unlock when descending of course but I admit I sometimes forget. It wont hurt anything. I don't recommend hitting some huge drops locked out but for standard riding it's fine.
