Quick question slightly clutching at straws.

I want to be able to use Excel 2010 on my personal laptop - this is not work related so can't get a copy from them.

Does anywhere offer a free download???

  • Try OpenOffice Calc. It's a free alternative to MS Office. Some functionality is not as good but you can still view and edit XML files

Check out the Microsoft Home Use Programme. If your employer is a member then you can buy the whole Office suite for around a tenner. I think you can check if your employer is a member on the HUP website.
Otherwise Google Sheets and Docs are good.
