Bathing a grubby mini H3. Walking the dog. Going up to London, mini H3 to watch Horrible Histories live with one of her pals. Mrs H3 and I might slope off for a drink while that happens.

Rueing the passage of time, be it of thermodynamical origin or not. My perception of it changes according to whether I'm doing something I like or not.

I'll update later with a detailed description of aching bones, puking and squitters. Bollox to thermodynamics.

Just off to the beach. Swimming, sunbathing and reading. Can't think of a more pleasant way to spend a sunny afternoon.

BTW. Is it anyone on here that is down in the New Forest with their bikes on top of a blue beamer tourer with the registration suffix KOM ? Talk about being addicted to Strava.

Are they driving around with bikes on the roof and Garmins beeping incessantly?
Had to pay the price for my two days of debauchery by helping the Mrs in the garden. To complete the unholy trinity of bank holiday lunacy I've also been to the dump and B&Q. Going for a beer shortly, might pedal over to Wombledon.

Third and shortest ride of this extended weekend early doors before it warmed up too much. Now sitting in shade with a cup of coffee d1cking about on the internet in this short peaceful interlude before the arrival of the now 3yo twins for a sleepover. Will not be peaceful for long.
  • Afternoon all. Extended family weekend survived. The Tiny Terrors' first duvets purchased, iced latte had, lunch in the garden done, argument with the wife completed. Just waiting for someone to bring us weekly provisions then probably melting in the heat after that. I'm not sure I believe in time, I think it might be a big joke we don't understand yet.

Found myself in a restaurant doing a soft opening in Soho. Really quite good. A couple of cocktails, a glass of wine and a decent lunch for the 2 of us for £37. Now having a pint for 6 fecking quid. Should have had another glass of wine.

Wibbled to a pub on Wombledon Common for a couple of pints with various family members. Took the lad's bike, downtube gear shifters are kind of cool. Nearly got wiped out by a scrote on a moped on the way back, as I was turning left he passed between me and the kerb in the opposite direction! Luckily I was a little way out so there was just enough of a gap, scared the sh!t out of me.

    You work in a bank...

    Evening Gimps,

Woke up at 9am, hopefully now rid of the jet lag. Sorted through loads of crap at the parentals house, took two car loads of sorted crap to the tip, saw my old dear for lunch, drove 270 miles home through sh1tty bank holiday traffic.

Jury service tomorrow, the joys

That's my approach. Lash it to a lolly stick and thumb it in like you just don't care. Not that the opportunity arises much.
