Please advise on my potential best buys. I was after a 1 x 11 drive train but not bothered if sram or other. I'd ideally like hydraulic disc brakes but I know I'm pushing it with the budget. I've been looking at the Trek Crockett 5 2018 or building up a Kinesis. Thoughts please.

I have not come across "hydrologic" brakes before. Do they think for themselves? :D

I said they'd be expensive. Seriously though any recommendations.

Here's a few to look at. Personally i like my TCX. All in budget with Hydraulic mix of 2 and single chainset.
The prices are starting to come down so some good bargains starting to appear. Maybe worth watching for ex demo bikes as well. Picked my Defy up after it did 1 demo and my TCX after it had done a few, both still looked new.

Cheaper wildcard entry better than the above me thinks.
