Recommend me some clip on tri-bars for a Di2 road bike?

Ello peeps

I'm looking to convert my 2017 Giant TCR Di2 (6870 11 speed) road bike to add some clip on TT bars to use it in triathlons on hilly courses, like TriathlonX in the Lakes. I have a 5 speed junction box, and will get the R671 shifters. I'm struggling to think what's the best actual clipon TT/tribar extensions to get tho? (I currently use Profile Strykes on my regular road bikes with no bar end shifters.) Presumably need to be compatible for internal Di2 cable routing, and round ends to fit the R671 shifters.

I thought Shimano would just do an obvious one but I'm struggling to find. Any suggestions? Cheers

  • Since this is a hilly course the weight is worth considering. Not all carbon extensions are lighter than alloy ones. PRO missile are probably some of the lightest you'll find and at a great price. If you don't mesh well with a default position, 3T offers the best adjustability.

Regarding shape, I always go S bend.
