Tubeless conversion

I currently have a set of Mavic aksium disc rims with continental tyres and tubes.

If I want to go tubeless, is it as simple as getting Schwalbe pro one tubeless tyres, tubeless valves, stansnotubes tubeless rim tape and sealant and doing the conversion? Do my rims also need to be compatible in some way or can the conversion be made on any rim? Also I see you can get stansnotubes rim strips which (to my understanding) are to be used if you're wheelset is not tubeless ready. Basically, Can someone clear up what I need to get to convert to tubeless lol. Thanks.

Or mavic yskions UST, Hutshinson, Maxxis Pardone IRC..... In my view the Pro one are race day tyres. light low Crr but not at all durable. not sure how the new mavic tyres fair I have just received a pair for testing.

you need tape and valves. rims strips are pointless if you need that do the conversion stick to tubes as your rims are not compatible.
