This expensive but actually very comfy saddle and is on offer at the moment I see.

However, and I am guessing but fairly certain.
The clearcoat on the saddle has actually broken away/cracked in 2 places but I thought nothing of it and also thought it not worth making a product recall.
The damn thing has 'ruined' 2 pairs of Ale bib shorts, brand new this season .
When I say ruined... I mean rubbed away at the lycra covering the pad... again shorts still functional but highly annoying!

I am going to sit down and with emery papers, get rid of the clear coat and make the saddle absolutely smooth again.
This wont affect the integrity of the saddle but it will lose some of its aesthetic charm but at least it will tame its lycra eating habits.
