What ones are the ones to get. ?

Fastish riding and need to be grippy, like Bontrager R3 grippy.

    Corsa G+

or for a cheaper deal for a top tyre https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/veloflex-master-folding-tyre-twinpack/

Both supple, most tans are open tubs with high tpi.

As far as grip go, both are excellent. If you ride them in the wet remember they will look a bit sh1t quite quickly and you'll never be able to truly clean them up back to new.

    That.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

  • Going on my Rourke 853 race mudguard bike.
All year round use, fast (ish road work, but not racing , obv! )
    No budget and clinchers.

  • Corsa G+ as mfin says. Used them all year round, great grip even in the wet, roll as quick as any tub I have used and not had a single puncture. Probably the best clincher I have ever used.

What's a race mudguard bike out of interest? Is it a bike you race on (like proper racing, no racing on a computer in your garage) that has mudguards for rainy days or is it just a road bike with mudguards?

  • Veloflex Master 25 - love them. Have Challenge Stradas on another bike and they are nice but prefer the VF and they are cheaper. Both these bikes ridden mainly in summer so not sure how they will look after a winter of riding in all weathers. The VF clean up better than the Challenge in my experience, you do need to keep up to them though.

Any good deals seen on the Corsa G+. I'm in the market.

    Probably here https://www.probikekit.co.uk/bicycle-tyres/vittoria-corsa-g-clincher-tyre-twin-pack/

Unless you just want to try one out first? I did that, put one on the front first and my average speed went up by 0.5mph, so I then put one on the rear too and it went up by 0.5mph again.

I'm thinking about taking them off and putting another couple on.
