Weird drivetrain combo

A bike I've bought has got an odd combo of components:
Sram x7 derailleurs and shifters
shimano XT cranks with 3 rings
10speed rear cassette
and no matter what I do I cant seem to get the shifters dialled in, is there a mismatch in parts?

Nothing wrong with that combo, assuming the RD and shifters are 10-speed.
I have SRAM X9 mechs with X7 shifters, SLX triple chainset and XT 10-speed cassette on one of my bikes and it works perfectly.“Life has been unfaithful

Seems weird I cant get the shifters dialled in properly, always experiencing rub in the middle chainring for the smaller sprockets?0

No reason the combination won't work, so it's down to setup.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Yeh I'm running x9 shifters, x7 derailleur, shimano sis front mech  , xt cassette.
Does the front mech need rotating on the seat tube slightly? Assuming it's rubbing on the front mech cage and the cage isn't bent ?0
