Light vs Cycle 'computer'

Well the light won. I've taken to 3am rides in the Thetford Forest and have a number of lights including a powerful Cree LED Magicshine.
The Cree LED must have some sort of inverter in them to pulse the lights - you can see the strobing effect on the tyres. This would save the batteries. Well it also must radiate because it interferes with the 'computer' - Halfords wireless - and when the light is the computer is off. If I CBA then I might relocate the light away from the 'computer' and I'll try it out during the eclipse tonight.
BTW - there are other night riders in Thetford and at dawn the Husky teams can be seen dragging quad bikes around for training.
