Most online info states these are identical. I asked Canyon this question and they said no--- mmm? Reason I am asking is to do with minimum clearance to use one of these. I am 145mm from top of seat tube to bottom of saddle rail so theoretically they would be no use to me as Ergon say 155mm minimum.
Canyon say no 140mm ?? (15mm is a big difference)

OK so are they the same or is Canyon just after the sale and who cares what the punter's size is even if it may be incompatible.

Difficult to ascertain this is. It is doubtful you'll get a good answer. I think you'd want the join to happen clearly above the seatpost clamp because of how the post works, if you're running it that close then I'd forget it.

I would say try a Cannondale Save, but those need 150mm showing I think.

Perhaps get a more comfortable bike or saddle?

They are the same but if Canyon say 140mm then you have to assume it is okay

I'd go with what Canyon say because they are big enough not to chase the sale.

    The price of procrastination
last week the VCLS 2.0 on Canyon website was listed at £107 reduced from £179.
Today--- !!! £223 GD! Will not be bothering with that. I could just accept £107 but £223 is taking the proverbial.
