Boardman CX Team sizing

Apologies if this subject has been covered before as I've just joined the Forum.
I've decided after much deliberation to purchase the above bike under cycle2work as an all-rounder but am confused re sizing between a 50cm or 53cm. I'm 171cm tall, crotch-to-floor of 76cm and arm span of 175cm. The local Halfords only had a 55cm in stock which was too big. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

According to Boardmans web site it's a 50cm frame you need, this is the size I have, I'm 166cm. I'ts quite a long frame for a CX bike I swopped out the stem for a 60mm which suits me fine. Boardmans web site states that the 50cm frame is good for up to 177cm tall.Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"0
