ANT+ or bluetooth - which to choose if you can use either?

My new PM (Power2Max NG) transmits both ANT+ and bluetooth. I'm currently using it with a Garmin and ANT+ and having no issues. I'm probably about to get a Wahoo Bolt though, which like the PM, can do either ANT+ and bluetooth.

Are there any benefits to using ANT+ or bluetooth if either is an option?

The Elemnt will select whichever is the stronger signal. You don't need to choose.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.

If you ever want to connect a sensor to more than one device then ANT+ is the way to go as you can't do that with Bluetooth. Otherwise it usually doesn't matter to much. I believe the Bluetooth power meter specs aren't as mature yet but I don't know if that would affect the possible power meter data you can get though.

Thanks for the information both. I guess I'll just let the bolt do what it wants.. ;-)
