Front mech clamp extension?

I have a hollowtech bottom bracket fitted to an older steel from and now the front mech won't cover the outer chain ring. Is there an adaptor to extend the reach of the mech or another fix?

    Assuming you've checked the limit screws (undo the cable clamp, unwind the upper limit screw and see how far out you can move the mech by hand), that sounds like a BB problem; there should be no issue getting any front mech to come out far enough.
