Shifter compatability

Will SRAM X9 rear mech work with Shimano shifters. 9 speed.

    No. The pull ratio is different. Both Shimano and SRam 9 speed road are compatible with their own mountain bike groupsets.

    Thanks for that, I asked because the front mech was LX and worked with the triple front shifters which are SRAM X7. This was on a Specialised full suspension bike.
