Hi there,

I am a new in this forum so I do hope everyone getting along each other.
Forgive me if it wrong section or I break the rule even I read forum rule.

I want to buy a bike but I wasn't sure which one should I get.

I went to Halford and I have been test ride on two different hybrid bike - VooDoo Marasa (£400) and Carrera Subway 2 Men's 2016 (£350).

The problem about VooDoo that their handling grip is quite painful when I hold the grip as my skin is sensitive however, the riding is so nice and quite faster than Carrera.

The problem about Carrera is slow than Voodoo but I like their grip.

I wonder if you guys have review of this so I can read the information to decide what should I get and if you guys have a better bike than that then that's fine - my budget is less than £400.

Another things I would like to buy helmet with camera cos I want to be safe on road if I using hybrid bike.

FYI, I am deaf :-D - nice to meet you guys,

Thanks,
young7dragon

  • Changing the grips to a type you prefer should be a relatively simple job.

Purely on spec, the Marasa beats the Subway2, not long ago it was in a sale at £320 before British Cycling discount.

Grips are cheap and easy to replace. Get the bike that suits you and change them.
