Di2 rear derailleur

Could I convert my short cage ultegra di2 rear derailleur to a medium cage, by using a standard ultegra rear derailleur. I just don't fancy spending £150 on a new derailleur. I know you can use a 32 tooth cassette with a ss derailleur,but I'd prefer to use the correct derailleur. Thanks

    Check out the tech docs and see if the cages look the same - it is possible to swap cages but you need to make sure that they attach the same. Google Shimano Tech Docs and check out there dealer manuals I think it is.

    The cheapest option is to install a Wolftooth Road link extender to your hanger. That will give you the extra clearance needed for a 32t.
