Jockey wheel question

Possibly a daft question.
I've replaced my jockey wheels in the last few days and the chain has started slipping under power, when I'm taking off from traffic lights as an example. It only happens in 2 gears, I'm generally in the smallest 4 at the back on my commute and it slips in the middle 2 of the four.
It hasn't done this before I changed the jockeys, I've put the guide on nearest the cassette and the tension one at the end of the arm, my question, finally, is can they be back to front, does the writing on them need to face a certain way? They're just basic shimano ones.

More likely you've messed up the indexing or something in the process.I don't do smileys.

Thought it might be that as it's only 2 on the cassette that seem to slip all the other 8 are fine. I'll have a tinker, wanted to make sure there wasn't something stupid that I'd done first. Haha! Thanks0 -
The pulleys usually need to be both in the right position and facing the right way.
Just check you have routed the chain through the cage properly and not over top of the tab.....0 -
Worn chain perhaps as you've now fitted new jockey wheels?0
