Hi guys

I'm looking to change my bike (hardtail Ghost SE1300 Y2014) and can't decide between the 2 bikes in the title.
The plan would be to change the tires on the Slide+ 90 with some Schalwbe Magic Mary / Hans Dampf 2.35 and go tubeless regardelss of the bike.
The intendend use of the bike would be in the hills in Southern France and some of the bikeparks in the french Alps a few times a year.
Overall, the Slide+ 9.0 seems to have a bigger bang for the buck but the Slide 150 has the bigger travel.
Opinions?

Personally I'd go for the HD. I don't like the Fox 34 fork on the other one. The Pike RC isn't great for Alpine riding due to its slightly ropey high speed damping (it'll ruin your wrists), drop in an RCT3 damper and it's spot on. The main issue with the Fox fork is flex which can't be fixed.
Alpine bike parks are generally full of braking bumps which will absolutely batter you on a short travel bike (I felt ruined after a week on a Transition Scout) so the extra travel will be a benefit.

Thanks for the feedback. I've ordered the Slide HD in the end on August 1 and noticed today that the priced dropped by 100€. A phone call later and the guy from the shop agreed to refund me the 100€ since the bike hasn't shipped yet. :D
Kudos for the price matching, now waiting for my bike :mrgreen::mrgreen:
