So the annual jaunt to France is nearly upon us.

I've managed to pull a couple of routes from ride with GPS but just wondering if I'm missing any nice bits.

Does anyone have any recommendations for Routes in and around the Pornic area.

It all seems fairly flat, are there any climbs I should be doing???

any suggestions welcome.

Try to ride the Passage du Gois across to Noirmoutier - the Tour will cross it next year almost certainly - only doable at low tide. Much of the land west and NW of Challans was marshland reclaimed in Napoleonic times so is very flat, but the wind can blow!
I've had a few holidays in St Jean de Monts (south of Noirmoutier) and you really had to search to find a hill!

Wonder if i can time it so i get stuck on the wrong side when the tide comes in...
