2013 Gaint Anthem BB

Hi

My Giant Anthem 29er press fit BB has finally got play in it after 3 years, looking on CRC the Shimano XT & XTR BB seem to get mixed reviews, just wondering if they are worth using I don't really want to spend big bucks, I would of thought it would of been Shimano or FSA from original and if the replacement lasts another 3 year I would be happy.

    I only use XTR bottom brackets these days. I genuinely can't remember when I bought either of mine but it was a very long time ago.

    Yeah same here I'd just spend the extra and buy the xtr version. saying this though on another bike I have the xt m800 bb and its lasted going on a year so maybe they are getting better seals on them xt upwards in the product chain.

    They may have changed but XT and SLX bottom brackets uses to be identical.
