What brakes have you currently got? I haven't heard of NX brakes.“Life has been unfaithful

sorry there shimano m4470

Shimano SLX 7000 or the XT 8000,only difference is the free arc where you can adjust the pad lever bite point, but i have never really noticed any difference where the screw is,SLX are £65 an end at chainreaction,or the older SLX at merlin at £110 for a pair, alternatively Hope's but they are top dollar though0

I’d go for SLX or XT as suggested above.

why not try bigger rotors first before shelling out on new brakes. I wouldn't bother with the SLX/XT as they have poor modulation. Saints or Zee would be my choice.0

Strange you have said that I'm swapping my xt brakes over from my mega tr to a hack bike I'm building for work commuting and after some 4 piston brakes, the xt's didn't seem powerful enough for some full on rides I've done recently.
Before spending though you could as already said change to bigger rotors 180, 203 etc and also try different brake pads, this is cheaper than buying new brakes.0 -
Watch out for going too big. Many forks are not rated for 203mm.I don't do smileys.
